Why do we use this image of the Sacred Heart? Read here >> "What is the object of this work? ...
Cardinal Billot, April 26, 1915 "The Enthronement... is somewhat more than a merely transitory act, or a beautiful ceremony. It is and should be a permanent state of life, an every day recognition of all the rights of Christ the King, by every member of the family. As a ceremony, it is a social and solemn recognition by the family of the divine royalty of the loving Heart of Jesus. "

"Continue... beloved son, in your efforts to enkindle in Catholic homes the flames of love for the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus: but likewise, and this before all else, and this is Our wish, endeavor to make this love result from a knowledge of Christ the Lord, and from a greater and deeper understanding of the truths and laws which He Himself has given us." Pope Benedict XV, 27th APril 1915, Letter to Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey, the Apostle of the Sacred Heart |
